In the third quarter of 2025, music and podcast apps on the Android platform showed diverse trends in Egypt, as analyzed by Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts exhibited a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $3.8K and reaching nearly $10K by the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a peak of around 228K in early September, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 7.9M initially and slightly decreasing to approximately 7.6M by the quarter's end.

Anghami: Play music & Podcasts experienced a gradual decline in revenue, starting at about $4.2K and decreasing to $3.6K. Downloads also showed a downward trend, from 49.2K to approximately 23.5K, while active users saw slight fluctuations, maintaining a range between 3.5M and 3.3M.

SoundCloud: The Music You Love maintained a modest revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at about $273. Downloads and active users showed stability, with downloads ranging from 23.7K to 33.7K and active users slightly decreasing from 9.0M to 8.6M.

Apple Music had a stable revenue trend, peaking at $165 by the end of September. Downloads showed a decrease from 9.6K to 2.0K, while active users fluctuated slightly, ranging from 24.1K to 23.3K.

Deezer: Music & Podcast Player showed low revenue throughout the quarter, with a brief peak of $122. Downloads remained stable, ranging from 814 to 1,000, and active users increased from 51.5K to 67.7K.
